Robert Ghasemi - Club Director & 16s Head Coach:

He has played volleyball at the highest level in Austin for the past 30 years. He also played in Europe. Robert has put many coed and men's teams together for USVBA and Austin Leagues since the 1980s, playing as well as coaching. His men's team, The Terminators, was consistently seeded and ranked as one of the top teams in the state.

Robert has coached girls middle school, high school and club volleyball in the Austin Area. He has also coached youth soccer for the past eight years.

Nick Slaughter - Head Trainer

Nick started playing volleyball around the age of 12. After that he began playing on youth leagues in the San Antonio area until he was 17. That summer he moved to southern California which allowed him to transition to the more established and competitive club volleyball scene in the LA area. Playing there helped introduce him to a wider audience of schools and coaches which lead to being offered scholarships from multiple universities all around California as a top 5 volleyball recruit. Nick chose to play for a well known school and was fortunate enough to start for them all four years and to play in two national championship matches. He loves the sport of volleyball and really enjoys sharing his thoughts and experiences to those wanting to learn.

Shannon Whitney - 15s Blue Head Coach & Trainer

Shannon began playing volleyball in middle school and quickly found out that year round play was almost not enough. She played school, club, and outdoor grass doubles through her senior year in Olympia, Washington. During college, Shannon played intermural volleyball and she continues to play on leagues throughout the Austin area. Her coaching experience began about 12 years ago and includes basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Most recently, she has coached club volleyball in Austin for the past 3 years. Team sports teaches a multitude of life lessons and will help each player become a strong and confident individual. Shannon is very excited to be a part of the Terminators team!

Ron Cimarosti - 15s Black Head Coach

Ron has coached girl's volleyball at all age levels, from USVBA women's to youth at T&C, Brushy Creek, Hutto and Georgetown leagues. This will be his 2nd year with Terminators. Ron played the game for 30+ years (He's old!) at USVBA and city rec leagues in Wisconsin and Texas. He has also coached girls kickball and basketball. Ron's philosophy is to have fun playing sports and strive to do your best. He loves teaching team sports, especially volleyball, for all the great lessons and skills that can be used throughout life. His expectations are to develop good work ethics, to be good teammates and to enjoy the game of volleyball. Favorite saying: Challenge yourself.

Karen Ghasemi - 14s Head Coach

Karen has played many sports including tennis and basketball and started playing volleyball in the early 1990s. She has over 15 years of playing indoor and outdoor volleyball, including grass and sand. She has numerous first place finishes in indoor and outdoor tournaments and leagues. Karen co-coached the Terminator 13s team last year to a very successful season.

Joe Wong - 12s Head Coach

Joe developed his passion for volleyball from his coach during Power Volleyball class and Intramurals in college. Ever since, he's been hooked on the sport playing in leagues and in tournaments around town for the past 10 years. Last year, he played USAV and went to Nationals. This will be his first year coaching with Terminators. He plans to bring his love for the sport and his professional training development experience to develop passion in others for the sport!
